Boranup Beach Camped at the top of the point at the northern end of Boranup Beach. People camp on the beach and the northern end has a sheltered corner which can be seen here. Since it is the weekend, there were a few people spread out along this beautiful, long beach which is popular with surfers as well as the fishermen. It was pretty windy and I was out on the edge of the limestone cliffs taking photos until pretty late ... then up again around five thirty in the morning. There are so many tracks through the Boranup Forest it would take a while to explore them all. Going to try a few today. ;-)

Very pleasant sitting watching the passing boat traffic along a channel of the Blackwood River. The ferry to the island shuttles back and forth every half hour. The school bus picks up a few kids in the morning and several people have been by in their kayaks. Wonderful weather today
