I'm sitting on a rock high up in the Grampians waiting for the last of the daylight to fade. To the north is Lake Wartook, lit by a half moon which will set in a couple of hours. As the light fades I can see the flat desert country to the north west which is called the Woomera. I'll be heading there in a few days to see the Pink Lakes. On the way I'll visit the Little Desert National Park by way of the small town of Horsham. I can see its lights clearly on the horizon over 30km away.
